I just wanted to take the time to write a short little update about what’s to come in 2013! I know many of my fans where rather sad to hear I was going… and no longer going to be blogging.. then came the day when I stopped playing wow. I know that for the most part many people think and what they think is fine. I know I’ve lost fans as well. The end of the day, blog hits, being popular was never something I wanted to do. For those who read my last post, you’ll be thinking to yourself.. bad so soon? Well not really.. truth is my official days in World of Warcraft is over and there is a reason for that. I’ll explain in another post later; however today’s post, is just a short little post, about the King of the Web. Now I’ve heard about this before some months ago and I’m sure it’s been around for a while now. Basically it’s a contest where YouTube and Internet Stars get votes by their fans and the winner within the time frame gets prize money. I think that this is a long overdue post and from my lack of anything in a long time told most of my readers the same thing. That this is goodbye. So why? Well there are many answers but none of them do justice for it. The one thing to remember is this site will always be here with all the information it has to offer. Times change, people grow in the end I had fun from 2007 for about 4 years. Sure I may play other MMO’s but right now my days riding drakes and catching rare spawns is at an end. Over the last week I’ve mostly been playing Pet Battles when I do. I’m doing some gold making, however with not having Mist or access to the new content, professions, etc it’s very hard to report on whats new and hot on those fronts. On the side note of hunters, again I haven’t had much time to really focus in on whats new and whats going on. I can tell you playing at level 85 as a twink is rather fun in pvp. Given I have all the last seasons pvp gear and most people at 85 now are in leveling gear. The idea of a twink at 85 is a rather cool idea right now. Today’s post is one that I bet no one really saw coming. Well that’s to really be expected given the fact I haven’t been online playing Warcraft for well over a month now. Why? Today’s post is going to be rather simple discussion about how to set up a guild bank system. I’m not talking about setting up the guild bank itself. You know going out and getting signatures, buying the tabs, how much is it worth to buy past three tabs, etc. No this is about the ideal way to set up a guild bank base off your setup of characters you’re using to make gold. So I’m going to show you the ideal setup I am pushing for and what works for me may not work for you. So do keep that in mind. Sometimes we just don’t have the time to do everything we might want to do in the game. Let’s face it, real life and I mean life outside of the world of warcraft comes first. It should always be this way, that is why it’s rather important to have a good set-up so you can quickly post your actions and then move on with your daily life. What to do? The best thing to do is come up with a system that works for you. Remember that not everyone is the same, has the same set up of characters. Some might have 10 or more characters they need to check, some might only have one banker for everything. It all depends on your size. With all the changes that we got for hunters in patch 5.0.4, let alone the changes to talents, the new glyphs but we also got some new stat changes. Right now I would have to say that Beast Mastery is the best spec for PVP right now, but then again now that we can choose any pet spec and make our spirit beasts cunning, I think it gives the spec more to do. This is a good thing and a bad thing. A good thing in that it keeps some players away from the spec, some players like it simple. I suppose that is why Mages have always been on top in terms of being played (I personally see more people with Mages as a main then I do other classes, but they all have Hunters too). There are many readers and supporters who come by Hunter Mastery and most often in the last month they have been not so much disappointed that nothing has happen but more just playing the waiting game. The game of when I return full-time, well the sad truth is that maybe I’ll come back full-time in the future. However right now that just isn’t going to be the case. I’m still working on putting my life together, working to lose weight and to feel better and to be healthy. That all comes above any video game, no matter how much I might enjoy playing it. It’s been a good week now and I’m sure everyone has made a killing off inscription now. The new glyph system is full in and I’ll have to say, that even myself personally not really looking at what glyphs has had crafted for myself vs what was going away before I shutdown everything 2 weeks ago left me with only a few items turning grey. What turn Grey? Well for starters we all knew relics where going away and I sadly was stuck with only 2 that was left in my normal posting routine. They where vendor along with my Death Knights relics he used. The papers to make glyphs also changed, you no longer need different parchment to make glyphs or any items within inscription anymore. The truth is, I didn’t get down to what I wanted to get done in time for Patch 5.0 Launch like I had hope so, but you know there are things that just happen. Change is a part of everything and this was no different. I could have just stay with the main set of alts that I had, played just one hunter and been happy with it. It’s been about a week or so, who’s really keeping count; from the last time I’ve put out any content. In fact its been about a week and half now since I’ve even login to my computer. Most of my interaction has been from Twitter on my phone and while some that has been pointless drama, I think its best to just not even care about ALL that crap anymore. Today’s post was going to be about something I’m not very proud of, in fact so much so that I’ve down right deleted it and replace it with this post. Some of you, some of my readers, followers will think I cave in. That I let someone bully me and pretty much just didn’t do the right thing. Today’s post is a short one, I want to let everyone know that chances of me playing in the next two or three weeks will likely not happen. As a result I wont have access to the beta or live game. The reason is I’m moving, today in fact I’m already on the bus as this post goes out heading out. I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to really write and given out good solid content. First off, I feel horrible about not being able to give you all content. In the last two months I’ve been putting out good content everyday, I haven’t missed a day. More Stable slots! I think that really speaks volumes now when you see the host of new hunter pets. In fact, in a way I’m very happy I decided to roll a hunter of each race for Mist of Pandaria. I still plan to do the same for horde side, but I have to focus on one thing at a time. Coming to a hunter Stable near you are new pet families! In terms of how many more stable slots, I would say another page or two would be good to be honest. Right now we have 25 slots, 20 stable and 5 active. I think adding one or two more pages (10 slots each for a total of 20 more) wouldn’t be too hard. At the end of every week, I basically give you the reader a chance to catch up all the past posts I’ve written over the last week. This week I talked about the Darkmoon Pets and how to collect them easy between all your characters in time for Mist of Pandaria in less than two months from now. There was a small update about hunter pet changes in beta as well as Transmog Friday post this week. Everyone has been talking about stockpiling, with less than 2 months left now until Mist of Pandaria drops in stores the time to stockpile is slowly coming to a close. Keep in mind however it’s really never too late and I’m going to jump out and say that the closer it gets the more players will dump their current mats. But also I’ve noticed that on some items which in the past, would have hit rock bottom have been holding at solid prices. I can think of one reason why; there are just more players playing the auction house. More of them read gold making blogs and as a result more people know. It’s been a few weeks now since I’ve done Transmog Friday, the reason for that was simply I didn’t have any more sets myself to show off (hunter ones anyways) and I wasn’t getting any submissions for it. to be totally honest I wasn’t going to make any new posts about Transmog Friday until mist as I knew some really nice sets would come about. Also part of the reason was I had moved to a one post a day schedule and I wanted to make sure I could get out all the posts in any given week that I wanted, which resulted in some ideas being dropped. Coming in Mist of Pandaria is the new Pet Battle system, with it are a host of new game features for every one including those looking to make gold with it. This was something I’ve held off talking about for a while now simply because I wanted to make sure this was going to be allowed, that it worked in beta the way I thought it would work in live. And this is where I want to warn everyone, that this is beta and everything can change. Today’s post is sort of one of those blast from the past kind of posts. This is an old Wrath of the Lich King farming spot and I’m sure everyone under the sun knows about it. At least at some point if you where like me, before they added the Frozen Orb vendor into the game, this was the hot spot to farming Eternal Fire. Basically what you’re farming here are Crystallized Fire off of Seething Revenant in Storm Peaks. Why was I farming them in the first place? Good question, well to be honest I wasn’t.
